What is this course about?
The purpose of this course is to help you build your own robotics projects. You will be provided with the kits and our Engineers will give you the knowledge to develop 4 different projects from scratch. The majority of your time in the course will be spent on hands-on activities.
In this training program, you will develop this knowledge by building four popular robotic systems. Here’s what you’ll learn by hands-on sessions:
- Concepts of various robotic technologies
- Working of motors, sensors and microcontrollers
- How to design mechanical structure of robot
- How to program and test robots
Projects
Design and develop the following Robotics projects
- Line Follower Robot that follows a line using infrared sensors
- Obstacle Follower & Obstacle Avoider Robot that follows the obstacles and avoids it
- Robot controlled by mobile phones and DTMF technology
- Gesture Based Robot controlled by hand gestures using accelerometer sensor

- DTMF encoder decoder module
- Audio jack
- Accelerometer ADXL335 Sensor
- Chassis - 1 No
- U Clamps - 2 Nos
- Wheels for Motors - 2 Nos
- Castor Wheels - 1 No
- Other miscellaneous items
All the above components would be provided during the program to participants in groups of 5 but would be taken back at the end.
Participants registering in groups of 5 will get take-home kit for free. Take-home kit consists of all the above items excluding the items marked with *.
Eligibility
You are eligible for this program if:
- You are pursuing bachelors or masters in Engineering
- You want to get certified training with specialization in Robotics
